For those who aren't already regular visitors to my Anomaly TeleVision blog … you should be!! Beginning back in November of 2006 I started posting the most interesting paranormal and parapolitical videos I could find online. Each day of the week I focus on a different topic; Mondays are for UFOs, Wednesdays for Cryptozoology, Fridays for Parapolitics, Sundays for Ghosts, etc.

Since November of last year I've posted over 2200 videos ranging from hard to find footage of Uri Geller at Stanford Research Institute in the 1970s to the latest and greatest in Parapolitical Activism videos (including true 911 skepticism) as well as the most interesting bigfoot and cryptozoology vids that challenge the notion of Sasquatch being simply folklore. Plus I post videos of Robots, Music, Mashups, Animation, 3D Technology and much much more.

For whatever reason, over the past 30 days, AnomalyTV.com's number of visitors has DOUBLED!! Over the last six months I've seen internet traffic to the site range from an average of 20 to 24 thousand visitors a month, which averages out to 600 to 800 visitors each day. As of today the site is registering a total of over 44 thousand visitors for an average daily count of 1500 visitors!

Hot Springs police placed an officer on administrative leave while they investigate an Internet video that appears to show him choking three skateboarders, the mayor said Tuesday.

Mayor Mike Bush said investigators talked with passers-by and business owners who saw Officer Joey Williams stop the skateboarders on a city sidewalk Thursday for breaking an ordinance banning skating in the area. A YouTube video posted Monday shows Williams apparently choking one of the youths after forcing him to the ground, while later chasing and wrestling two others while holding them in a headlock.

“Unfortunately, the video shows it pretty good,” Bush said. “I don’t condone that sort of stuff and I tell everybody that calls me, we don’t know where he was before and during and after this video.”

When asked about the officer’s conduct, Bush called Williams “one of 100 best and finest we’ve got” in the city’s police department.

The mayor declined to say what the city’s next step would be.

“Until the investigation is complete, we really don’t know what we’re going to do,” Bush said.

Williams did not answer a request through the department for an interview and did not respond to a phone message left at a home number in his name.

Police spokesman McCrary Means identified two of those arrested as Matthew Jon McCormack, 21, and Skylar Nalls, 19, both of Hot Springs. Means said McCormack faces a misdemeanor battery charge after purportedly pushing or striking a 67-year-old city employee during the melee. Nalls was cited for skateboarding and faces misdemeanor charges of fleeing and obstructing governmental operations.

Means said four youths involved in the incident also face skateboarding citations and resisting arrest charges.

McCormack, who works at Hot Springs’ Funbox Skateshop, said both he and Nalls were free on $1,000 bond. McCormack said most of the youths remained at home on house arrest.

“It’s never been an issue. They made that rule a long time ago, but I’ve skated down through there all the time and it’s never been a problem,” McCormack said. “It was kind of shocking for it to be such a huge issue.”

McCormack said skaters immediately started shooting the scene with a digital camera capable of shooting video and an Hi8 video camera. The YouTube video, spliced between the two cameras, shows the skaters along Hot Springs’ Central Avenue, home to eight bathhouses that figured prominently into the town’s popularity in the early 1900s.

Voices in the background can be heard asking Williams why he was arresting the skaters.

“When I tell you to stop and you tell everybody to keep going, that’s fleeing, that’s disorderly conduct, that’s a violation of city ordinance,” Williams is heard saying in the video.

Williams later threatened one of teens laying on the ground that he’d spray him with pepper spray if he moved.

McCormack disputed many of the police allegations, especially his battery charge. He said he only pulled on the city employee’s arm after the man picked a girl off her feet in a chokehold.

The video on YouTube had been viewed 30,000 times as of Tuesday afternoon.

Vice President Dick Cheney has indicated in no uncertain terms that he believes the laws of the United States do not apply to him. According to Capitol Hill Blue, Cheney - in direct violation of a Presidential executive order - has refused to turn over documents to the National Archives. On Monday, June 25, 2007, most of the All-Star Panel on Special Report disagreed with the Vice President's blatant arrogance. Fred Barnes, editor of the Weekly Standard and Brit Hume were the notable exceptions. With video.

Hume started the segment off with a clip of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) saying "You now have the Vice President saying, on something as controversial as intelligence, where we know that prior to the war he made a number of trips to the CIA - a substantial number - saying 'I will not adhere to the rules that are set up by the executive branch for the handling of intelligence.' I think it's the height of arrogance." Even Hume had to admit that the EO (Executive Order) "didn't contain any language saying that the President and the Vice President were to be excluded from it.

Mort Kondracke of Roll Call took the position that the issue with the National Archives was not important, but what he found disturbing were other allegations against Cheney being made public in a series of Washington Post articles. Brit Hume gave a dismissive wave of his hand as Kondracke began speaking about this as if to warn Kondracke off. It didn't work.

According to the Kondracke, there are questions about Cheney's "extension of executive power to the furthest reaches … imaginable where he says the Geneva Convention doesn't apply because the Congress cannot inhibit in any way the powers of the President to conduct foreign policy or conduct a war. They set up these military commissions which would have had zero civilian review no matter what they did with these detainees. They could have kept them forever. They could have killed them, tried them, or anything and all of that stuff is being knocked back by the courts, putting the administration in worse shape than it was when it started."

NPR's Mara Liasson summed it up succinctly: "There are limits on executive power and it's called the Supreme Court and that's what's happening right now." As she was speaking she mentioned that the real issue in the National Archives case was the fact that the President left out the proviso that the President and Vice President were exempt from the provisions of the EO.

Brit Hume and Fred Barnes jumped in, saying that Bush ought to rewrite the EO "right now - today". I was surprised since Hume's gimmick is to present himself to the viewing audience as an impartial, experienced journalist who simply reports the facts. Yet in this instance he took sides when he suggested that Bush immediately rewrite the EO.

Comment: Under the pressure of Bush's abysmal poll numbers, even the right-wing's tin-plated front men are losing it!

Hume and Barnes made some interesting and revealing comments later in the segment:

HUME: "But what about Mort's - Mort seems quite active - Mort seems animated by the Washington Post …"

BARNES: "The Washington Post series that most of our viewers haven't read?"

HUME: "Right."

BARNES: "Thanks, Mort."

Comment: Hume's earlier gesture coupled with this exchange leads me to believe that neither Hume nor Barnes wanted the FOX viewers to know about the Washington Post series.

Fred Barnes continued, making a fool of himself as he tried to explain away Cheney's autocratic, quasi-dictatorial behavior.

BARNES: "Look. There was an emergency situation. We'd been attacked on 9-11 and Cheney wanted to establish things quickly about how we were going to handle these unlawful combatants who have - people who have never, ever in human history been considered as people who are covered by the Geneva Convention."

HUME: "And the laws of war."

BARNES: "And the laws of war. Yeah. Now the Supreme Court has said that they do - but they dreamed that up out of whole cloth. And Cheney moved quickly in ways that were not the normal process of things working at the White House. I'm glad he did."

When Kondracke mentioned that even hard liners like John Yoo had advised against letting the military conduct "robust interrogations" (torture) because there woud inevitably be blowback, Barned jumped in with the moth-eaten, shopworn retort: "Have we been attacked again or not?"

Looks like Cheney's in for some hard times …

Former Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta answered questions from members of 9/11 Truth Seattle.org about his testimony before the 9/11 Commission report.

Mineta says Vice President Cheney was "absolutely" already there when he arrived at approximately 9:25 a.m. in the PEOC (Presidential Emergency Operations Center) bunker on the morning of 9/11. Mineta seemed shocked to learn that the 9/11 Commission Report claimed Cheney had not arrived there until 9:58– after the Pentagon had been hit, a report that Mineta definitively contradicted.

Norman Mineta revealed that Lynn Cheney was also in the PEOC bunker already at the time of his arrival, along with a number of other staff.

Mineta is on video testifying before the 9/11 Commission, though it was omitted in their final report. He told Lee Hamilton:

“During the time that the airplane was coming into the Pentagon, there was a young man who would come in and say to the Vice President…the plane is 50 miles out…the plane is 30 miles out….and when it got down to the plane is 10 miles out, the young man also said to the vice president “do the orders still stand?” And the Vice President turned and whipped his neck around and said “Of course the orders still stand, have you heard anything to the contrary!?

Mineta confirmed his statements with reporters, saying "When I overheard something about 'the orders still stand' and so, what I thought of was that they had already made the decision to shoot something down."

Mineta was still in the PEOG bunker when the plane was reported down in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

"I remember later on when I heard about the Shanksville plane going down, the Vice President was right across from me, and I said, 'Do you think that we shot it down ourselves?' He said, 'I don't know.' He said, 'Let's find out.' So he had someone check with the Pentagon. That was about maybe, let's say 10:30 or so, and we never heard back from the DoD until probably about 12:30. And they said, 'No, we didn't do it.'"

Wise up or die! Those were the words at the end of an email that Joseph Haas of Concord, N.H. wrote at the end of an email to Terry Dudley a W. Lebanon city council member that got him arrested for threatening and menacing a 2nd degree misdemeanor. Joe was arrested tonight at 7:15pm est. at the combination police dept. and city offices of Plainfield, NH. Joe knew that there was the possibility of being arrested but went to the town selectman meeting anyway to confront them at their meeting about the letter they sent to US Marshal Steve Monier.   Full Story

On the final day of the Vancouver 9/11 Conference, Dr. William Deagle gave a presentation that included a hypothesis that suggests 'micro-fusion' devices may have been used to facilitate the destruction of the World Trade Center. Necessarily, this captured the interest of Jones, who has a relevant educational background.

I went down to the Mayors Conference at the Century Plaza in Los Angeles and while I was hanging out in the lobby looking for potential victims of a truth squading, I saw Jimmy Smits. What is not on tape is the way I got his attention. I went up to him and asked him if he would use his status to push for a new investigation into 9/11. He said he never heard of WTC 7 so I briefed him a little. I was a little nervous because it was obvious I didn't belong in there but Jimmy Smits was very nice and his crew wished me luck.

I was hoping that you guys here could brainstorm with me on how to follow up with him.
